When I paid a visit to the resort, I could only think that the website really didn’t do the place any justice, as it was a beautiful resort.

I did all the photography for the website myself – as I wanted to ensure that all the small little details of the resort that makes it such a nice getaway was captured and shown in the website.

The couple took really good care of us and even took us around the day after the wedding.

The colourful Indian wedding was held in a large hall that was beautifully decorated for the night.

The chilli orange team was on hand to follow both the husband and wife separately in the morning all the way to the Immaculate Conception Church in Penang for their wedding vows.

The wedding was very cheerful and it seemed that everyone had tonnes of fun, ourselves included!

Believe it or not, this was the first sunrise I have ever seen in my life.

When I look at this photo, I know it was well worth the sleep deprivation.

This handout also features a one sided gloss finish, to give it a very nice outlook from the outside.

Goddess of Mercy (Quan Yin) Temple, Penang.

This temple is one of the oldest in Penang. I am very paranoid about going to this place everytime as my eyes just cannot stand the amount of smoke from the incense burning.

I used to kick up a fuss everytime we had to go there – I was seriously contemplating on wearing swimming goggles there at one point, just like the people working there.

Penang Bridge.

The dark and ever so slightly cloudy sky and the tremendous amount of lights that us humans have come to polute the natural darkness with.

I wonder when the arches in the middle section will be lighted up again. Many Penangites have even forgotten that the middle arches used to be lit up making the triangular center area very visible even from far away.

The place where it all started – St. Xavier’s Institution, Penang.

This is my Alma Mater. I started my education right here – in this very Catholic School that was run by the La Sallean brotherhood. The very last Brother principal, Rev. Brother Paul Ho retired just this year marking the end of the La Sallean era in Malaysia.

The friends that I have made, and the people I have met along the way – so priceless. The memories I have, all embedded so deep in my mind.
